| HIS CORPORATE & PRIVATE COLLECTORS SAY Hal's
art helps them see in nature things they have never seen before. They like to surround
themselves with his images. They say it is like a soothing tonic -- an important contrast
to the often chaotic urban environment. His art is a bridge, bringing back fond memories,
adventures, places, and sensations they have experienced. It helps them express to others
their own sensitivity, feelings, appreciation and regard for the natural environment.

"My
continuing concern is for both the fragility of our natural environment and the human
spirit. I would like my work to serve as an uplifting buoy.
