Artist Hal Stowers savors the completion of his monumental stainless steel sculpture, SUN TIME, commissioned by IMRglobal Corporation for their new world headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.

"... 'SUN TIME,' commissioned by Satish Sanan, Chairman and CEO, IMRglobal. This monumental, polished, stainless steel sculpture, 24' wide by 19' high, weighing approximately 12.5 tons was created by local environmental artist and sculptor Hal Stowers, is showcased in a 60' diameter reflecting pool.

The artist was selected by Sanan after he saw another large scale sculpture created by Stowers which developer Justice presented to him for consideration. 'Sun time' was chosen from three small scale models.

Stowers collaborated with project architect, Aude, Shand & Williams, contractor Hawkins Construction, structural engineers McCarthy & Associates, and fabricator Cook Machinery to arrive at the final working drawings for the sculpture and its foundation.

'This project represented a unique opportunity to make a signature statement on behalf of IMRglobal and provide a visual statement to every citizen that this is more than just another building. This is a world-class facility in a league of its own,' said Justice."
